Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has an overall score of 65.1, which is better than the Huawei MediaPad's global score of 56.4. Although it's the best portable tablet in this comparison, Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a a lot thicker and much heavier portable tablet than the Huawei MediaPad. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Huawei MediaPad works with Android 4.0 OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a bit better CPU than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also counts with more RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad features a slightly better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater display pixel density.
Huawei MediaPad counts with a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Huawei MediaPad counts with a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 costs more than Huawei MediaPad, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
