Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is much better than the Huawei MediaPad's general score of 56.4. The Samsung Ativ Tab design is somewhat thinner but much heavier than Huawei MediaPad. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT operating system, while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Tab has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad, and although they both have 2 cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a much better graphics processing unit running at 400 megahertz and a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei MediaPad has a brighter screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a bit lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a higher screen pixel density.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much greater memory for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad, because it has more internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Ativ Tab features a much better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a 100 percent bigger battery size.
Huawei MediaPad features a superior camera than Samsung Ativ Tab. Both have the same 1280x720 video definition, the same video frame rates and a camera with a 5 megapixels resolution.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei MediaPad. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad, letting go some features and specifications.
