GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has an overall score of 77.4, which is way better than Huawei MediaPad's 56.4 global score. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a newer 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a way thinner but a lot heavier tablet than Huawei MediaPad.

The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a quite superior hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a larger amount of RAM, a better 450 MHz graphics processor and a higher number of faster cores. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much better looking display than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a lot higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, a really bigger screen and more pixels per inch in the screen.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a much better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad, because it has an 8220mAh battery size against 4100mAh.

Huawei MediaPad takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), although it has a way less mega-pixels resolution back camera and a much worse 1280x720 video quality.

The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) costs a lot more money than the Huawei MediaPad, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
