Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a global score of 58.1, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad's overall score of 56.4. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has newer 4.0.4 version while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0 version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 design is thinner but a lot heavier than the Huawei MediaPad.
The Huawei MediaPad counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280, the Huawei MediaPad also counts with a better pixels density. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a very superior memory to install games and applications than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 28 GB more internal storage capacity.
Huawei MediaPad features just a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MediaPad also has a GPU. Huawei MediaPad counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video quality, the Huawei MediaPad also has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels and higher 30 frames per second video frame rates.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a very superior battery duration than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a 66% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei MediaPad. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Huawei MediaPad, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
