The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a global score of 62.8, which is better than the Huawei MediaPad's overall score of 56.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 body is somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than the Huawei MediaPad. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a bit faster CPU than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of 1.2 GHz cores. Huawei MediaPad counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 800 x 1280px and more pixels per display inch.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with much more storage to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad, because it has more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 128 GB. The Huawei MediaPad takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Both have the same video quality, a same resolution camera in the back and the same video frame rates.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a little better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4100mAh.

Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also a bargain compared to others.
