Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 74.5, which is a lot better than Huawei MediaPad's global score of 56.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's construction is noticeably thinner and much lighter than Huawei MediaPad. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0 version.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a brighter display than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a lot higher screen density, a larger display and a much better 2560 x 1600 resolution. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad, because it has 32 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB.
