Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is much better than the Huawei MediaPad, having a 68.5 score against 56.4. Sony Xperia Tablet Z's construction is way thinner but a lot heavier than the Huawei MediaPad. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0 version.

Xperia Tablet Z features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a little better screen density, a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much larger display. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad, because it has more internal storage and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.

Xperia Tablet Z has a bit faster processing unit than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a greater number of cores, a faster 400 MHz graphics processing unit and 1 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z features a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.

Huawei MediaPad features a slightly better camera than Xperia Tablet Z, although it has a lot worse resolution back camera and a lot lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality.

Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei MediaPad, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia Tablet Z, otherwise you can save some money and get the Huawei MediaPad, giving up some specifications.
