Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 59.5, which is much better than the Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1's overall score of 53.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) design is notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has the newer 4.1 version and Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1 has Android 3.1, giving some nice extra features and improved performance.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bit better looking display than Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1, because although it has a way lower 600 x 1024 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a bit better camera than Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1, although it has a lower 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a way less mega-pixels camera in the back. Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1 has a little bit more memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 16 GB more internal memory.

Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1 has a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has an 85% greater battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) costs exactly the same than the Lenovo IdeaPad Tablet K1, which makes it a very good choice.
