Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a general score of 63.4, which is much better than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's 55.2 overall score. Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 operating system. The Microsoft Surface 2 body is somewhat thinner but much heavier than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and both of them were released only a couple of months apart.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit better display than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a much bigger screen, a just a little better pixels number in each inch of display and a way higher 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit bigger memory for applications and games than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit better CPU than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have 4 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface 2 also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a little bit better camera than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. Both have a back camera with a 5 mega-pixels.
The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 counts with a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 2, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, letting go some features and specs.
