Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, having a 72.2 score against 55.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a newer and thinner tablet than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, although it's also heavier. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit more powerful processor than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a bit better looking screen than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a lot bigger screen, a lot better 1440 x 2160 resolution and a better pixels quantity in each display inch.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. They have a same resolution camera in the back. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, giving up a couple features and specifications.
