Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is much better than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's overall score of 55.2. Even though the Samsung Ativ Tab and the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Samsung Ativ Tab body is extremely heavier but thinner than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, while Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 works with Android 4.2 operating system.
The Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a lot smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 600 x 1024px, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit faster CPU than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a better graphics processor working at 400 megahertz and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal memory. Samsung Ativ Tab has just a bit better camera than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. Both have a 5 mega pixels back facing camera.
Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much longer battery performance than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has an 8200mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, resigning a couple specifications.
