Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is better than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, with a global score of 63 against 55.2. Even though Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 were released with only a few months difference, Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's construction is somewhat thinner but also heavier. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 version, giving you some extra features and performance enhancements.

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater display density. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 both feature extremely similar processing units, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 4 CPU cores, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM.

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has much more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 also has 16 GB more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a little bit better camera than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. Both have a same resolution back camera.

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
