Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an overall score of 65, which is better than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's global score of 55.2. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 were released only a few months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) design is thinner but a lot heavier than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. These devices work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the older 4.1 version while Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 version.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a little sharper screen than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has a little lower display density, it also counts with a higher 800 x 1280 resolution and a much bigger display. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has just a bit better processing power than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a faster GPU.

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 16 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that holds up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a way better battery lifetime than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.

Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a back camera with way more MP.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, giving up some specifications.
