Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has an overall score of 67, which is a lot better than the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000's 55.2 overall score. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has 4.4 version and Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has Android 4.2 version, giving some nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's design is newer and somewhat thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a more vivid screen than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a little larger display, a little bit more pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 has a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 64 GB, the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active features a little faster CPU than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab Active also has a greater amount of RAM memory and a better GPU. Galaxy Tab Active counts with better battery duration than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, because it has a 27% larger battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, although it has a back-facing camera with much less MP resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
