Lenovo Moto Tab is better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a score of 64.4 against 57.6. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Lenovo Moto Tab has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Lenovo Moto Tab's body is newer and a little bit thinner than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's, but it's also way heavier.

Both of them have a same resolution back facing camera, the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
Lenovo Moto Tab has a way better battery lifetime than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
Lenovo Moto Tab costs more than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
