Microsoft Surface Pro has a global score of 63.2, which is much better than Lenovo S5000's 56 score. The Microsoft Surface Pro works with Windows 8 Pro OS, and Lenovo S5000 works with Android 4.2 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro's construction is notably thicker and a lot heavier than Lenovo S5000. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit better processing power than Lenovo S5000, because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a faster 650 MHz GPU and a higher amount of RAM.

The Lenovo S5000 has a slightly better display than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a lot worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Lenovo S5000, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.

Lenovo S5000 features a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro. The Lenovo S5000 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a camera with lot more mega pixels.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Lenovo S5000, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Lenovo S5000. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Lenovo S5000, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
