Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a score of 72.2, which is way better than Lenovo S5000's global score of 56. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Lenovo S5000 comes with Android 4.2 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a thicker and much heavier tablet than the Lenovo S5000.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features just a little better hardware performance than Lenovo S5000, because although it has an inferior number of cores and doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Lenovo S5000 has a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a much smaller screen, they both have the same screen density.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3's camera is just as good as the camera in Lenovo S5000, they have a camera in the back with a 5 mega pixels. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Lenovo S5000, because it has more internal storage capacity.
The Lenovo S5000 has a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Lenovo S5000, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo S5000. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Lenovo S5000, letting go a couple features and specifications.
