Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has an overall score of 58.1, which is a bit better than Lenovo S5000's global score of 56. Although it's the best portable tablet we compare here, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 design is somewhat thicker and much heavier than the Lenovo S5000. These devices work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the previous 4.0.4 version and Lenovo S5000 has Android 4.2.
The Lenovo S5000 has a greater processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more CPU cores and an additional graphics processor. The Lenovo S5000 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Lenovo S5000 also counts with a better display density.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Lenovo S5000, because it has 16 GB more internal storage. Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a bit better camera than Lenovo S5000, although it has a back camera with much less mega-pixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a really longer battery lifetime than Lenovo S5000, because it has a 97 percent bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Lenovo S5000, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Lenovo S5000. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Lenovo S5000, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
