The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is much better than the Lenovo S5000's general score of 56. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Lenovo S5000 has Android 4.2, so it gives some additional features. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 body is a bit thinner but noticeably heavier than Lenovo S5000.

The Lenovo S5000 counts with a lot better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 800 x 1280px resolution and more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Lenovo S5000, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

Lenovo S5000 features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Lenovo S5000 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's camera is very similar to Lenovo S5000's camera, both have the same resolution back-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features longer battery performance than Lenovo S5000, because it has a 22 percent more battery size.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a little more expensive than the Lenovo S5000, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
