Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 has a score of 63.4, which is just a bit better than the Lenovo TAB 2 A8's general score of 60.1. Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS, and Lenovo TAB 2 A8 works with Android 5.0 OS. Microsoft Surface 2's design has the same thickness than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, but it's much heavier.
The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features a bit faster processor than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64 bits CPU. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a slightly better looking screen than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, because it has a bit more pixels per display inch, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a really larger display.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a camera that is just as good as the camera in Lenovo TAB 2 A8, both have the same resolution camera in the back. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
Lenovo TAB 2 A8 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Lenovo TAB 2 A8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface 2, otherwise you can save some money and get the Lenovo TAB 2 A8, resigning some features and specs.
