The Galaxy Tab Active has a general score of 67, which is much better than the Lenovo TAB 2 A8's score of 60.1. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active has 4.4 version while Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has Android 5.0 version. Galaxy Tab Active is a a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier tablet than Lenovo TAB 2 A8.
Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with a much better graphics processor running at 832 megahertz and a 64 bits processor.
The Galaxy Tab Active features a bit sharper screen than Lenovo TAB 2 A8. Both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a display with the same size and the same display density. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active takes a bit better pictures and videos than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, although it has a camera in the back with much less MP resolution.
Galaxy Tab Active features a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab Active has a bit better battery lifetime than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, because it has a 4450mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is way more expensive than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Lenovo TAB 2 A8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
