Comparison review
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a score of 63.1, which is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s global score of 58.6. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has older 7.1 Nougat version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus body is lighter and noticeably thinner than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a greater quantity of pixels per display inch. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features just a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has more 2 GHz CPU cores. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a very superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
