The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a score of 63.1, which is a little bit better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 overall score. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android OS, but Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, so it provides the user some nice extra features. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus body is incredibly newer and just a bit thinner, but also just a little heavier than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a bit faster processor than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a higher number of cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a little sharper display than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. Both of them have a same size screen, the same pixels density and the same exact 1920 x 1200px resolution.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus captures much better photographs and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a back camera with a lot higher 8 megapixels resolution and a way higher (Full HD) video quality. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because although it has an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a superior battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Although Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a better device, it costs more than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, else you can save some money and buy the Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up a couple features and specs.
