The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a global score of 63.1, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 overall score. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has newer 7.1 Nougat version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus construction is newer, a little thinner and a bit lighter than Huawei MediaPad M1.
Huawei MediaPad M1 features a display that's very similar to the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus one, and although the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a lot worse number of pixels per inch in the screen and a way worse 1280 x 800px resolution, they both have a screen of the same size. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a bit better processing unit than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a way better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a much more mega pixels back-facing camera. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a superior memory to store more apps and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB and 16 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei MediaPad M1's battery lifetime is very similar to Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's battery performance, although the Huawei MediaPad M1 has 4800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4850mAh.
Although Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, resigning a couple features and specs.
