The Microsoft Surface 3 is slightly better than the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, with a 66.3 score against 63.1. Microsoft Surface 3 is an a lot older, thicker and way heavier tablet than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with just a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with just a bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit worse 1200 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus takes much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 3. Both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate.
Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface 3, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, giving up some specs and features.
