The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has an overall score of 63.1, which is just a bit better than Xperia Tablet S's 58.9 general score. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has newer 7.1 Nougat version while Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1 version, giving you a couple nice extra features. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is a much newer tablet, and it's also a lot lighter and incredibly thinner than the Xperia Tablet S.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has just a bit better performance than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a sharper display than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot better pixels quantity per screen inch.
Xperia Tablet S has a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Xperia Tablet S also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus shoots a lot better photos and videos than Xperia Tablet S. Both have the same resolution back camera.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a very superior battery duration than Sony Xperia Tablet S.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
