Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Lenovo Tab A8, getting a 68.5 score against 55.5. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's construction is somewhat thinner but a little heavier than the Lenovo Tab A8. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.2.2 version and Lenovo Tab A8 has Android 4.4.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a quite superior processing power than Lenovo Tab A8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has a GPU and more RAM memory.
