Samsung Ativ Tab is much better than the Lenovo Tab A8, with a 66.7 score against 55.5. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with Windows RT operating system, and Lenovo Tab A8 works with Android 4.4 operating system. Samsung Ativ Tab is a much heavier tablet device than Lenovo Tab A8, but they are 0.35inches thick.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Lenovo Tab A8, because although it has 2 lesser cores (although faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit and 1 GB more RAM. Lenovo Tab A8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a quite lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher count of pixels per display inch.
The Samsung Ativ Tab and Lenovo Tab A8 have very similar cameras, both of them have a 5 mega-pixels camera in the back. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Lenovo Tab A8, because it has 48 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.

So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Lenovo Tab A8, letting go a couple features and specs.
