The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is slightly better than the Lenovo Tab A8, getting a overall score of 60.1 against 55.5. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a newer 5.0 version and Lenovo Tab A8 has Android 4.4, providing you some extra features and performance optimizations. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 design is thinner and lighter than the Lenovo Tab A8.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a screen that's very similar to the Lenovo Tab A8 one, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a little worse pixel density and a bit lower 1024 x 768px resolution, they both have a same size screen. Lenovo Tab A8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with more cpu cores.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0's camera is just as good as the Lenovo Tab A8 one, both have the same resolution back-facing camera. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 counts with a bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Lenovo Tab A8, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB.
