Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a general score of 60.5, which is slightly better than the Lenovo Tab A8's score of 55.5. Galaxy Tab A 9.7's construction is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than the Lenovo Tab A8. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a newer 7.1 Nougat version while Lenovo Tab A8 has Android 4.4, so it offers a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements.
Lenovo Tab A8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, although it has 512 MB less RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. The Lenovo Tab A8 counts with a much better display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1280 x 800px resolution and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Lenovo Tab A8, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a superior battery lifetime than Lenovo Tab A8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7's camera is very similar to the camera in Lenovo Tab A8, both have the same resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is not only the best tablets in our current comparison, but it's also cheaper.
