Comparison review
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is slightly better than the Lenovo Tab Plus, with a 57.6 score against 53.3. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Lenovo Tab Plus has Android 14 version, so it gives you lots of additional features and improved performance.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a much faster processor than Lenovo Tab Plus, although it has 5 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much sharper screen than Lenovo Tab Plus, although it has a really smaller screen. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures much better pictures and videos than Lenovo Tab Plus. Both have a 8 MP resolution back-facing camera, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
Lenovo Tab Plus features a very superior memory for applications and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Lenovo Tab Plus has a way better battery lifetime than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has an 8600mAh battery capacity against 5100mAh.
