Comparison review

Microsoft Surface 2 is slightly better than the Lenovo Tab S8-50, with a 63.4 score against 59.6. Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Lenovo Tab S8-50 counts with Android 4.4 operating system. The Lenovo Tab S8-50 features a more vivid display than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display.

The Lenovo Tab S8-50 has a bit faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of them have 4 cores and 2 GB of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Lenovo Tab S8-50, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal storage.

Lenovo Tab S8-50 counts with a superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 2. The Lenovo Tab S8-50 has a greater camera than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Lenovo Tab S8-50, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Lenovo Tab S8-50. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Lenovo Tab S8-50, resigning a couple specifications.
