The Lenovo Tab S8-50 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a global score of 59.6 against 58.4. Lenovo Tab S8-50 is a notably newer portable tablet, and it is also notably thinner and much lighter than Microsoft Surface RT. Lenovo Tab S8-50 has Android 4.4 OS, and Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT OS.

The Lenovo Tab S8-50 counts with a much better looking screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a much better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better 1920 x 1200 resolution. Microsoft Surface RT features a CPU that's very similar to Lenovo Tab S8-50's processor, and although the Microsoft Surface RT has an extra GPU, they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and 4 processing cores.

The Microsoft Surface RT counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Lenovo Tab S8-50, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Lenovo Tab S8-50 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a back camera with a much better resolution.

The Lenovo Tab S8-50 counts with a much longer battery life than Microsoft Surface RT.

Although Lenovo Tab S8-50 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
