Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a little bit better than Lenovo TAB3 8, having a 58.1 score against 54.8. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the previous 3.0 version and Lenovo TAB3 8 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Lenovo TAB3 8 counts with a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of 1000 MHz cores.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a sharper screen than Lenovo TAB3 8, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little larger display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Lenovo TAB3 8, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a really longer battery lifetime than Lenovo TAB3 8, because it has a 40% larger battery size. Lenovo TAB3 8 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a camera with much more megapixels.
Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Lenovo TAB3 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Lenovo TAB3 8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 8.9, else you can save some money and buy the Lenovo TAB3 8, giving up a couple specifications.
