Comparison review
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a score of 57.6, which is a bit better than the Lenovo TAB3 8's 54.8 global score. Both of these tablets work with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a bit superior processor than Lenovo TAB3 8, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and 1 GB more RAM memory.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a brighter display than Lenovo TAB3 8, and although they both have a same size display, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a higher screen pixels density and a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD takes way better pictures and videos than Lenovo TAB3 8, because it has a much more MP back facing camera.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a little bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Lenovo TAB3 8, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features longer battery lifetime than Lenovo TAB3 8, because it has a 19% bigger battery capacity.
Although Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lenovo TAB3 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Lenovo TAB3 8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Lenovo TAB3 8, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
