IPad mini 2 is way better than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, getting a 77.2 score against 64.2. IPad mini 2's body is lighter and somewhat thinner than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. The iPad mini 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 comes with Windows 8.1 operating system. The iPad mini 2 features just a bit better looking display than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a quite greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Apple iPad mini 2 counts with as much memory for games and applications as Lenovo ThinkPad 8, and although the Apple iPad mini 2 has no slot for an external memory card, they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Apple iPad mini 2 has a bit more powerful CPU than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has a lower number of cores and they are also slower and 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU and a graphics co-processor.
IPad mini 2 counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. IPad mini 2 features a greater camera than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, although it has a back camera with a way lower 5 megapixels resolution and a lower (Full HD) video quality.
The iPad mini 2 costs more than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
