Comparison review
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is slightly better than the Asus VivoTab Smart, having a 64.2 score against 58.7. Both of these tablets use Windows OS (operating system), but the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has the newer 8.1 version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a lighter and just a little thinner portable tablet than the Asus VivoTab Smart.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a brighter screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels amount per inch of display and a lot better 1920 x 1200 resolution. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a little better processing power than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 also counts with a greater number of faster cores.
The Asus VivoTab Smart takes better photos and videos than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a 8 MP camera and the same (Full HD) video quality. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a much better memory to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage.
The Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the Lenovo ThinkPad 8 one.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a lot more expensive than Asus VivoTab Smart, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
