Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has a general score of 79.3, which is way better than Lenovo ThinkPad 8's 64.2 global score. Google Pixel Slate's design is noticeably heavier but somewhat thinner than the Lenovo ThinkPad 8. The Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS operating system, and Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1 operating system.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a bit better processor than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Google Pixel Slate has a screen that's just as good as Lenovo ThinkPad 8's screen, although the Google Pixel Slate also has a bit better pixel amount per screen inch, a lot larger display and a lot better resolution of 3000 x 2000px.
Google Pixel Slate has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Google Pixel Slate takes a lot better videos and photos than Lenovo ThinkPad 8. Both have a back camera with an 8 megapixels, the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a battery life that is very similar to Lenovo ThinkPad 8's battery life.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Lenovo ThinkPad 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Lenovo ThinkPad 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, giving up some specifications.
