Asus VivoTab Smart has a global score of 58.7, which is a little bit better than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch's general score of 57.3. Although it's the best tablet device in this review, Asus VivoTab Smart's construction is heavier and a lot thicker than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch. The Asus VivoTab Smart has just a bit better performance than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has less CPU cores , and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a little bit better looking display than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bigger screen and a little bit higher resolution of 768 x 1366. Asus VivoTab Smart features a very superior camera than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch. Both have a same resolution back-facing camera.
Asus VivoTab Smart has a better storage capacity to install games and applications than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch has a much better battery life than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although Asus VivoTab Smart is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
