Comparison review
The Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is a bit better than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, getting a 60.1 score against 57.3. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 is a thicker but a lot lighter tablet than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features a bit more vivid display than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch. Both have a display of the same size, the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800px and the same pixels density.
Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch features a bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Lenovo TAB 2 A8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB.
Lenovo TAB 2 A8 has a better processor than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Lenovo TAB 2 A8 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor. Lenovo TAB 2 A8 features just a bit better camera than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot worse 5 MP resolution.

If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
