Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a global score of 58.1, which is a little bit better than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch's score of 57.3. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 body is just a little lighter than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, although it is somewhat thicker and was released 5 years before. Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a better display than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a little bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a quite bigger display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a greater memory capacity for applications and games than Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a higher number of cores (and faster).
The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch captures a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back facing camera with a lot better resolution. Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch features a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a 3 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 8.9, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch, resigning a couple specifications.
