Comparison review
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a 60.4 score against 58.1. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ has the newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it provides lots of additional features and performance improvements. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ design is much newer and noticeably thinner than Galaxy Tab 8.9's, but it is extremely heavier.
Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a bit bigger display. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a slightly better memory to install games and applications than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ features a quite better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster). Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a way more mega pixels camera. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ counts with a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 9000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 8.9. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 8.9, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
