Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an overall score of 58.1, which is slightly better than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8's 56.6 score. Both tablets we compare here come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has an older 3.0 version while Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 has Android 4.4 version. Although it's the best in this review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker tablet than the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a bit more vivid display than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, because although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little bigger screen. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 features a better processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an extra graphics processor and 2 more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has slightly more memory capacity to install games and applications than Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage. Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot better 5 MP resolution camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8 both count with similar battery performance.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 not only is the best tablets of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
