The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 68.5, which is much better than the LG G Pad 10.1's 58.4 score. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.2.2 version while LG G Pad 10.1 has Android 5.0. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a thinner and noticeably lighter tablet than LG G Pad 10.1.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features just a bit better performance than LG G Pad 10.1, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 450 MHz graphics processing unit, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has more RAM memory.
