Comparison review
The Dell Venue 8 7840 has a score of 61, which is a bit better than the LG G Pad 7.0's 56.6 general score. The Dell Venue 8 7840 construction is a bit heavier but extremely thinner than LG G Pad 7.0. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Dell Venue 8 7840 has the previous 4.4 version and LG G Pad 7.0 has Android 5.0 version.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 features a much better looking screen than LG G Pad 7.0, because it has a lot better 2560 x 1600 resolution, a bigger screen and a lot higher pixels number per screen inch. The Dell Venue 8 7840 counts with an extremely better processing unit than LG G Pad 7.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has more RAM memory, a better 600 MHz graphics processing unit and a 64-bits CPU.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than LG G Pad 7.0, because it has a lot more megapixels camera. Dell Venue 8 7840 has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 7.0. Both have the same 16 GB internal memory.
LG G Pad 7.0 has a much longer battery lifetime than Dell Venue 8 7840.
Although Dell Venue 8 7840 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G Pad 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G Pad 7.0. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Dell Venue 8 7840, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG G Pad 7.0, giving up some features and specifications.
