LG G Pad 7.0 Review

16 GB AT&T (V400)     See other variants reviews Score: 56.6 / 100

LG G Pad 7.0 is a nice tablet, provisioned with a very powerful Quad-Core CPU speeding at 1.2 gigahertz, a quite big 7-inches capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, a 3 MP back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera.

LG equipped the LG G Pad 7.0 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 8226 system chip, packing a high-tech Quad-Core CPU ticking at 1.2 GHz and only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit poor for such a solid tablet. Graphic calculations often consume lots of CPU processing time, so it has an additional 450 MHz Adreno 305 graphic processing unit to help the CPU with those tasks. The LG G Pad 7.0 counts with a quite large 16 GB internal memory and an external SD slot, enough to install a couple hundred apps without worrying about space.

LG made this tablet in a lot of colors, black, orange, blue and white. This time, it seems like LG didn't care about the weight in this 10.34 oz tablet device. Though the LG G Pad 7.0 is very slim and comfortable it's not close to being one of the thinnest tablets on sale, with a thickness of 0.4". Whereas this device only has 7.45 inches long and 4.48 inches wide, it manages to contain a 7" screen.

This tablet is equipped with a very good 1280 x 800 7 inches display, which makes it hard to distinguish the pixels composing the display. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This tablet counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a modem). The LG G Pad 7.0 doesn't use a SIM card, because it doesn't work with GSM connections.

The LG G Pad 7.0 has two cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front camera.

This tablet also includes a couple nice characteristics as Bluetooth and GPS, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This tablet features a 4000 mAh high capacity battery providing this tablet an extremely long battery life.

The LG G Pad 7.0 is being sold for around 80 dollars, not so cheap for this kind of portable tablet. It doesn't matter whether you want a tablet for gaming, are looking for a portable tablet for work or are looking for a social tablet, you will definitely love this tablet device.
