Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the previous 4.0.4 version and LG G Pad 7.0 has Android 5.0.

LG G Pad 7.0 has a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the LG G Pad 7.0 also counts with a greater pixels density. The LG G Pad 7.0 has a better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a graphics processing unit and more processing cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than LG G Pad 7.0, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G Pad 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 7.0. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G Pad 7.0, letting go a couple specifications.
