The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is better than LG G Pad 7.0, getting a 65.7 score against 56.6. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad 7.0 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) design is heavier but somewhat thinner than LG G Pad 7.0.

LG G Pad 7.0 has just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, the LG G Pad 7.0 also counts with a bit greater pixel count per display inch. LG G Pad 7.0 has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the LG G Pad 7.0 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 7.0. They have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory capacity.
