The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a little bit better than the LG G Pad 7.0, getting a 60.5 score against 56.6. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 construction is much thinner but way heavier than LG G Pad 7.0. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has a more recent 7.1 Nougat version while LG G Pad 7.0 has Android 5.0 version.

LG G Pad 7.0 features an incredibly better display than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixel count per inch in the screen and a bit higher 1280 x 800 resolution. LG G Pad 7.0 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the LG G Pad 7.0 also counts with a graphics co-processor.

Galaxy Tab A 9.7 shoots clearer pictures and videos than LG G Pad 7.0, because it has a camera in the back with a way better resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than LG G Pad 7.0. They have exactly the same internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 features a really longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad 7.0, because it has a 50 percent more battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG G Pad 7.0. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the LG G Pad 7.0, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
