Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is much better than the LG G Pad 7.0, having a 64.9 score against 56.6. These devices use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and LG G Pad 7.0 has Android 5.0 version, giving a lot of extra features. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a somewhat heavier but thinner tablet than the LG G Pad 7.0.

LG G Pad 7.0 has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the LG G Pad 7.0 also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display.
